UKeiG browser statistics
Looking at the monthly stats for our web site it seems that a signficant number of you are interested in our browser statistics, so here the figures for June 2006.
The total number of page views for June was 34,756. The breakdown by browser was as follows:
IE 6 - 61%
Firefox - 23%
Mozilla 1.x - 7%
Netscape 5.x - 4%
IE 7 - 2%
Konqueror 3.x - 1%
Netscape 7x - 1%
Safari 1.x - 1%

No Opera? I'll have to use the site more!
I must confess that I am rather surprised at that. Not everyone who uses it can be setting it to report as IE surely? Either the percentage is below 1, which I don't believe, or the stats lump them in under something else. I'll have to go through the scripts and souble check everything is set up correctly.

Just ran the stats again including the the 3 and a bit days for July and Opera 8.x is now registering as 1%. So it must be that anything below 1% is not recorded separately.
