How to join
Membership benefits
UKeiG offers a wide range of membership benefits.
Personal membership
UKeiG personal membership is open to anyone interested or involved in the area of electronic information. Personal membership enables you to attend UKeiG's training programme of workshops and seminars at the discounted member rate.
The 2012 subscription rates are £27.00 a year (plus VAT at the current rate) or £9.00 for students and unwaged (plus VAT at the current rate).
If you are a member of CILIP - the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals - you can join UKeiG via CILIP by specifying UKeiG as one of your Special Interest Groups. However, you do not have to be a member of CILIP to be a member of UKeiG.
Institutional Members
Institutions and companies may also join UKeiG. Institutional membership allows up to four member-rate attendees at any UKeiG meeting.
Membership fees for 2012 are £105.00 (plus VAT at the current rate) a year.
Please note that UKeiG Institutional membership is not available via CILIP.
