This area of the web site contains the latest issue and archives of of eLucidate, UKeiG's electronic journal.

It is also home to UKeiG's popular series of Factsheets, written by experts in their field and designed to provide you with a quick and easy to read digest of the key issues affecting all aspects of electronic information. A full list can be found in the Factsheets section.

Intranets forum meeting

We now have a section in the members' area for those of you working with intranets. It includes reports on the Intranets Forum meetings and links to UKeiG factsheets of interest. We plan to develop part of the UKeiG Wiki as a forum for getting ideas and sharing experiences and screenshots. Future meetings of the intranets forum will be advertised here.

UKeiG Wiki

We have restarted our experimental UKeiG wiki at
http://ukeig.xwiki.com/. It was originally set up to develop and share support materials for the UKeiG workshop on RSS, blogs and wikis held in
Newcastle on February 22nd, 2006. The UKeiG wiki has now been set up so that anyone can view the information, but if you want to edit pages or comment you will have to register.

You do not have to be a member of UKeiG to become involved - everyone is welcome. If you are a member of UKeiG your existing UKeiG user name and password have not been automatically enabled for the wiki. Just click on Register and fill in the form. (At least you can choose your own user name and password!)

The intention now is to see how the wiki can be used by us all as a collaborative tool for developing fact sheets, FAQs, resource lists etc.

Suggestions for topics are welcome.
