UKeiG opens up Student Conference Award to Early Career Professionals

For many years UKeiG has offered a grant to help with the costs of attending conferences to full-time UK students in the ILS sector. These grants have been used to help students attend LILAC, the School Library Association conference and Umbrella, but could also be made available for less well-known conferences such as International Data and Information Management Conference this September in Loughborough.
Now UKeiG has opened up the award to early-careerprofessionals as well. The award is worth up to £250 for a UK conference or up to £500 for an overseas conference... and all recipients have to do in return is write a short conference report for eLucidate.
Full details and information on how to apply can be found on http://www.ukeig.org.uk/awards/student-conference-grant.
